This combined clinic and residence was designed for a local doctor to minimize commute and personal impact on the planet. Central to the ecological design is the solarium and inner hallway spine, built to utilize passive solar heating and stack effect for cooling breezes. Constructed with all FSC lumber, reclaimed trim, and fly-ash concrete on a pin foundation; this structure has a low-impact environmental footprint. Pervious concrete paving and engineered rain gardens means 100% of the stormwater is treated on site.
